Mrs. Ola B. Harris was born in Sumter County, Georgia on August 23, 1930, to the parentage of the late Mr. Oscar Sampson and the late Mrs. Mary Lee Reddick Sampson. She received her education in the public schools of Sumter County. At an early age, she joined the Triedstone Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. She was married to the late Mr. James M. Harris.


     She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Mrs. Mattie Ruth (Benny) Reynolds, Americus, GA; one sister, Ms. Eula Mae Prince, Americus, GA; three grandchildren: Ms. Annie Reynolds, Mrs. Sandra (Timothy Lewis) Robinson and Ms. Joanne Sampson, all of Americus, GA; her great grandchildren: Timmy Robinson, Nykerria Hawkins, Shantia (Justin) Cladd, Alajha Reynolds, Aquinas Cannon, Timiria Robinson, Tyquan Robinson and Tymani Robinson; two great grandchildren, Kadon Reynolds and Jace Cladd, all of Americus, GA; her nieces and nephews: Delois (Rev. Karl) Wilson, Betty (Anno) Harris, Dorothy Queenie, Willie Bell Sampson, Eula Mae Sampson, Mattie Mae Edge, Barbara (John) Boone, Hannah Prince, Sampson Prince, John Lee Prince, David (Mary) Prince, Johnny Boy, Bernice Barnes, Henry Perry and James Prince, Oscar Prince, Willie James Perry, Retha (John) Dowdell and Anna (Rev. Marcellous) Willis; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.
